In the article titled Individual reservation with package, the steps for creating an individual reservation with a package were outlined. In this article, you will learn about the procedure for group reservations with the room included package, including how to add a package and how to assign a package during a split to a guest or group R, among other details.

Package types

In our system, we offer three different kinds of packages:

1. Room Included - a selection that features room(s) combined with arrangement(s), room(s) paired with service(s), or room(s) along with both arrangement(s) and service(s)
2. Room Excluded - a selection that comprises only arrangement(s) and service(s) 
3. Service Only - a package dedicated exclusively to services.

How to create a group reservation with the Room Included package

To create a group reservation with a room included package, follow these steps:

1. start creating a new group reservation - add a guest, click 'Group' icon - or open an existing group reservation;
2. in the reservation mask in the 'Reservation Details' section, click the button 'Add Package';
    
   
   
3. in the package form, fill in the following fields in the Package Setup section:

• Qty - indicate the quantity of rooms that will have the selected package(s) added;
• Package - select the required package from the drop-down list.
• Start Date and End Date - by default, the system takes reservation dates from the main form in the reservation mask; 

When packages are added through the package wizard with distinct dates, the system will revise the reservation dates in the 'Reservation Details' section following this rule - the earliest 'Start Date' will be established as the Check-In date, and the latest 'End Date' will be recognized as the Check-Out date.

• A, C, I - define a number of adults, children, and infants within one room (package); 

When all packages are finalized, the system multiplies the number of rooms (packages) by specific A/C/I values and updates the 'Number of Guests' field in the 'Reservation Details' section accordingly.

After the package is selected, a new column, Included Services & Rooms, will appear on the right, where the following fields must be filled in:

• Room and Arrangement - when there is only a single room/arrangement option, the system will complete these fields automatically. However, if a package includes multiple room/arrangement options, please select one from the drop-down menu in each column;
• Allow OB - a checkbox that allows creating a reservation even if it causes an overbooking;
• Services - all 'Service' items within the current package will be added as tags to this field automatically;
• Price - when all items (room, arrangement, and services) are added, the system shows the total price for the current package for a certain days with a certain number of A/C/I.

    4. once a setup is done, click the 'Apply' button.
